Arrive. Take a deep breath. Gaze out at the lake. Anna am See is situated right on the Berau – a private cove on Lake Wolfgang. There’s always something going on here. And yet it’s exactly the right place to unwind.
Why Anna?
Some houses hold a story within them. This one bears the name of a woman who never gave up.
Anna was the great-grandmother of Matthias Hinterberger – the man who runs Berau today. She suddenly found herself on her own – with a farm, children and a future that needed to be reimagined. She carried on. Not out of a sense of duty, but because she knew: something must remain here.
Today, the hotel bears her name – bright, warm, with a view of Lake Wolfgang. Because Matthias hasn’t forgotten where it all came from. And because Anna has shown that if you keep going, something will remain.

Our tip: hire a kayak or SUP right here at Berau and explore the beautiful shores of Lake Wolfgang!
