To Berau Bay & the Franzl B&B
By train & bus:
Train to Bad Ischl, then bus 546 towards St. Wolfgang to the “Schwarzenbach am Wolfgangsee” stop.
Berau Bay: 5 minutes’ walk – the orange Berau flags on the left-hand side show the way.
Franzl B&B: 2 minutes back towards the Advent lantern – turn left before the large lantern.
By car
From Salzburg: A1, exit at Thalgau → B158 → Hof → Fuschl → St. Gilgen → exit at Strobl towards St. Wolfgang.
From Vienna: A1, Regau exit → Gmunden → Ebensee → Bad Ischl → Strobl exit towards St. Wolfgang.
Berau Bay: After 2 km, after the football pitch, turn left.
Franzl B&B: After 2 km, after the large street lamp, turn right.
By plane
Salzburg Airport → Trolleybus No. 2 to Salzburg Kiesel (Rainerstraße) → Bus 150 to Strobl → Bus 546 to “Schwarzenbach am Wolfgangsee”.
Alternatively: hire a car or take a taxi directly from the airport.
To Sigismund
By train & bus
Train to Bad Ischl, then bus 546 towards St. Wolfgang to “Schwarzenbach am Wolfgangsee”. Turn right immediately after the bus stop – go up the small road, and the Sigismund is on the left-hand side.
By car
From Salzburg: A1, exit at Thalgau → B158 → Hof → Fuschl → St. Gilgen → exit at Strobl towards St. Wolfgang → after 2 km, turn right immediately after the bus stop.
From Vienna: A1, Regau exit → Gmunden → Ebensee → Bad Ischl → Strobl exit towards St. Wolfgang → after 2 km, turn right immediately after the bus stop.
Parking: 50 metres past Zum Sigismund, on the left-hand side, there is a car park reserved exclusively for Zum Sigismund guests. Please do not park in the carport or directly next to the hotel.
By plane
