From June to August, dining al fresco is particularly popular here at Franzl’s. During Franzl’s Fish Season, we serve our dishes on the terrace when the weather is fine, or in the cosy dining rooms inside. Because we value genuine regionality, many of our ingredients come directly from the local area:
Grilled fish and smoked fish from the Wolfgangsee fishery, crispy organic grilled prawns from Austria, or freshly made tarte flambée made with the finest ingredients – and, depending on the season, topped with herbs from the garden.
There are also two special highlights in the summer:
Burger picnic every Friday in July & August with homemade burger buns and special drinks
Food & drink with the alpacas – every Thursday from 4 pm to 5 pm
Get up close and personal with the alpacas! They wander curiously between the tables, let you feed them and make for a truly special experience.
Outside the summer season, we open our restaurant on selected days, usually Saturdays.
